| Anse Marcel, Cul de Sac, and Mont Vernon are on the northern and northeastern coast of French St Martin. Anse Marcel looks out across three miles of water to the low-lying island of Anguilla. Cul de Sac and Mont Vernon look eastward to the even lower-lying island of Tintemare. It's so low that the Anguillans call it Flat Island. This from a country that has a highest point of about 300 feet! This panoramic picture was taken from the from the lookout at the top of the hill leading to Anse Marcel, looking down on Cul de Sac.
